Once a portable bullring and a place for newcomers, it has transformed over the years into a comfortable, covered venue under the management of <strong>Carlos Z\u00fa\u00f1iga<\/strong> and <strong>V\u00edctor Zabala<\/strong>. Today, it proudly hosts the first major bullfighting fair of the season.<\/p><p>Ever since Morante de la Puebla chose to kick off his 2022 season (the one with 100 bullfights) during La Candelaria, several top-ranked matadors have made Valdemorillo their starting point. Perera, Talavante, Cayetano, Daniel Luque, and Juan Ortega are just some of the stars who have graced its sand.<\/p><p>But in 2025, every single performer on the lineup is a true figure of the sport. For example, <a title=\"Castella bullfighter\" href=\"https:\/\/www.servitoro.com\/en\/36-tickets-sebastian-castella.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Castella<\/strong><\/a> and <a title=\"Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Manzanares bullfighter\" href=\"https:\/\/www.servitoro.com\/en\/33-tickets-jose-maria-manzanares.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Manzanares<\/strong><\/a>, both making their debut at this Sierra town\u2019s arena. These two legendary matadors, each with over two decades of experience, are committed to stepping into the ring hatless this February, just on Madrid\u2019s doorstep.<\/p><p>Joining them is <a title=\"Diego Ventura\" href=\"https:\/\/www.servitoro.com\/en\/68-tickets-diego-ventura.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Diego Ventura<\/strong><\/a>, the undisputed master of horseback bullfighting, making his Valdemorillo debut and topping off a lineup that could easily rival any major provincial fair. The event, featuring bulls from <strong>El Ni\u00f1o de la Capea<\/strong> both for rejoneo (bullfighting on horseback) and traditional bullfighting, takes place on <strong>Saturday, 8 February<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The second main event, scheduled for <strong>Sunday, 9 February<\/strong>, is one for Madrid\u2019s purists and fans of Las Ventas \u2013 after all, they make up the core audience of this fair. With bulls from <strong>El Parralejo<\/strong>, <strong>Jos\u00e9 V\u00e1zquez<\/strong>, and <strong>Garcigrande<\/strong>, it\u2019s a <em>mano a mano<\/em> duel between <a title=\"Emilio de Justo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.servitoro.com\/en\/2461-tickets-emilio-de-justo.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Emilio de Justo<\/strong><\/a> (another debutant) and <a title=\"Juan Ortega\" href=\"https:\/\/www.servitoro.com\/en\/105-tickets-juan-ortegahtml.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Juan Ortega<\/strong><\/a>, the undisputed star of the last two fairs here. This is a classic yet artistic lineup, depending on your taste, where attendees can be sure to witness pure bullfighting.<\/p><p>If that wasn\u2019t enough, the fair kicks off on <strong>Friday, 7 February<\/strong>, with a <strong>novillada<\/strong> featuring promising young talents from the bullfighting ranks.
