Located just over 30 kilometers from the capital and excellently connected by the transport network of the Community of Madrid, the town of Torrej\u00f3n de Ardoz celebrates its patron saint festivities around Saint John\u2019s Day<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. And of course, in its leisure offerings, which are broad and varied for all kinds of tastes and audiences of all ages, bullfighting events could not be missing.<\/p>


Currently, it is the company Lances de Futuro<\/strong>, with Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Garz\u00f3n at the helm, that is responsible for organizing the festivities in Torrej\u00f3n, and in 2024 it has presented three combinations of great interest<\/strong> – two bullfights and a rejoneo (bullfighting on horseback) event – in which the figures of bullfighting are interspersed with the matadors who are most in vogue.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The program opens on Saturday, June 22<\/a><\/strong>, with a lineup worthy of any prestigious fair: Jos\u00e9 Antonio Morante de la Puebla<\/a><\/strong>, Alejandro Talavante<\/a><\/strong>, and Juan Ortega<\/a><\/strong>, three figures of bullfighting present in all the season\u2019s subscriptions, who also captivate the public with their interpretation, will face bulls of Murube origin from the Castillejo de Huebra<\/strong> ranch.<\/p>

The following day (Sunday 23<\/a><\/strong>), a bullfighter from a dynasty like Cayetano Rivera Ord\u00f3\u00f1ez<\/strong>, along with two matadors from the new generation who already know what it is to triumph in the Las Ventas arena, such as Gin\u00e9s Mar\u00edn<\/strong> and Borja Jim\u00e9nez<\/strong>, will make the pase\u00edllo to take on six bulls from the El Pilar<\/strong> ranch, owned by Mois\u00e9s Fraile.

The fair closes with a rejoneo art event on Monday 24<\/a><\/strong>, the feast of Saint John the Baptist. With bulls from Manuel Santiago Corvo \u201cEl Canario\u201d<\/strong>, the lineup includes Andr\u00e9s Romero<\/strong> from Huelva, L\u00e9a Vicens<\/strong>, a French horsewoman based in La Puebla del R\u00edo, and the young Guillermo Hermoso de Mendoza<\/strong>, son of the master Pablo, who is following in his father\u2019s footsteps in a brilliant and successful manner.

Inaugurated in 1996 and capable of accommodating five thousand souls in its comfortable seats, the Torrej\u00f3n arena is a modern and functional building, but the fact that it can be used for various purposes does not imply that the fan, or the passerby, does not identify the building as a bullfighting venue, because it even has a certain flavor in its design and structure. Moreover, its spacious and comfortable seats make it a model and attraction to witness the spectacle in the best conditions. All that remains is to enjoy it.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
