It has been five years since the Era de los M\u00e1rtires bullring held its last bullfighting spectacle<\/strong>. On that occasion, Juan Mora and Emilio de Justo, the two most important bullfighters from C\u00e1ceres in recent decades, were carried out on shoulders after offering a great afternoon to their fellow citizens. Five years later, and with a pandemic in between, the bulls return in grand style to the Extremadura bullring, and they do so hand in hand with the company Lances de Futuro<\/strong>.<\/p>


The society run by Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Garz\u00f3n<\/strong> has prepared an irresistible offer for all good fans. In two bullfights, scheduled for May 31 and June 2, the San Fernando festival recovers all its splendour after a long period of abstinence.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

On the first of these days (Friday 31)<\/a><\/strong>, the two bullfighters with whom fans most identify with the concept called \u201cartist\u201d will fight in the ring: Morante de la Puebla and Juan Ortega. A duo, a pair, that promises to all who come to this nearly bicentennial arena a dream turned into a guarantee: to see bullfighting.<\/p>


The poster is also topped off by a legend of horseback bullfighting, Pablo Hermoso de Mendoza<\/strong>, who in the process of saying goodbye to the rings wanted to say goodbye to the fans of C\u00e1ceres. The rejoneo bulls bear the iron and badge of Murube, while the foot bulls belong to the Salamanca herd of Domingo Hern\u00e1ndez.<\/p>


On Sunday, June 2<\/a><\/strong>, the programme is completed with a high-voltage mano a mano. A duel with a clear Extremadura flavour, in which the two provinces of this land also confront each other: On behalf of Badajoz, Alejandro Talavante<\/strong>, and on behalf of C\u00e1ceres, Emilio de Justo<\/strong>. Two figures of bullfighting face to face, with the noble and healthy intention of making their fellow citizens enjoy.<\/p>


In addition, the \u201cjudges\u201d of the contest will be from up to three different ranches, and of different breeds, which increases the interest and the packaging of the event. Two bulls from El Pilar<\/strong> (Aldeanueva breed), two from Garcigrande<\/strong> (Juan Pedro Domecq line) and two from La Quinta<\/strong> (Buend\u00eda branch of Santa Coloma). The bet has all the incentives and attractions for the C\u00e1ceres square to shine resplendent after its period of opacity.<\/p>


And as man does not live by bulls alone, C\u00e1ceres has a wide cultural offer to complement this first weekend of June. Founded by the Romans, it faithfully preserves different vestiges of later cultures. Its old town, its medieval streets, its fortified palaces and its Moorish wall constitute the ideal prelude to a great afternoon of bullfighting.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
