The San Jorge Fair in Zaragoza<\/strong> has always been the \u201cpoor sister\u201d of the bullfighting cycle that has always represented the Aragonese capital: El Pilar. In October, the core of the programming and also the most traditional and thunderous posters are concentrated, while April is an appetizer, a way to wake up and open your mouth for what will come six months later.<\/p>

But this 2024 something seems to have changed on the banks of the Ebro. The company Zaragoza Toros has presented a very interesting poster, in which, after many years, the figures return to the La Misericordia bullring at this time of the calendar. Two bullfights and a novillada<\/strong> in which figures of the stature of Roca Rey<\/strong>, Talavante<\/strong> or El Cid<\/strong> and bullfighters of maximum current affairs such as Juan Ortega<\/strong> or Borja Jim\u00e9nez<\/strong>, as well as promises of the land such as Cristiano Torres or Fran Fernando.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

On Sunday 21, the star poster of the programming is announced. Andr\u00e9s Roca Rey<\/strong>, the leading figure in current bullfighting, returns to Zaragoza after several years of absence. The Peruvian star has decided to finish his last seasons before the El Pilar Fair and for this reason he does not appear in the Aragonese capital since 2017. A great incentive for the Ma\u00f1o fan, eager to see the Lima bullfighter again.<\/p>

Along with Roca Rey will perform that day Alejandro Talavante<\/strong>, one of the most beloved bullfighters in La Misericordia, where he has had unforgettable performances, such as the one in 2011 to the bull \u201cEsparraguero\u201d from Cuvillo. The poster is completed by Juan Ortega<\/strong>, a bullfighter of maximum current affairs and one of the main attractions of the artist-style bullfighting. The fair and programming closes another very interesting bullfight, headed by a bullfighting farm with a great poster in this fiefdom, that of Ana Romero, of Santa Coloma origin. Manuel Jes\u00fas El Cid<\/strong>, who also returns to Zaragoza, where he retired from bullfighting in 2019, will be in charge of fighting it. Along with the Salteras, two young people with many things to say, Borja Jim\u00e9nez<\/strong>, one of the revelations of the last course, and the French Clemente<\/strong>, surely the bullfighter with the most atmosphere in the neighboring country today.
