The Colombinas Bullfighting Fair 2026<\/strong> has established itself as one of the highlights of the Andalusian summer, thanks to an outstanding season ticket programme organised by promoter Jos\u00e9 Luis Pereda. Running from 29 July to 3 August<\/strong>, this year’s fair is marked by the historic return of the Miura<\/strong> breeding ranch after fifty years away from Huelva, as well as two appearances by local hero David de Miranda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For those who have yet to discover La Merced Bullring<\/strong><\/a> or the attractions of the city of Huelva, this is the perfect opportunity to combine world-class bullfighting with an unforgettable holiday. The programme offers an excellent balance between the most demanding fighting bull bloodlines, the biggest stars of modern bullfighting and the promotion of promising young talent.<\/p>\n

The return of the legendary Miura<\/strong> bulls on Friday 31 July<\/strong><\/a>, fifty years after their last appearance in Huelva, is one of the defining moments of the fair. Bullfighting specialists David Fandila “El Fandi<\/a>“<\/strong> and Manuel Escribano<\/strong> <\/a>will join local matador Alejandro Conquero<\/strong><\/a> in what promises to be one of the most exciting afternoons of the festival.<\/p>\n

The fair reaches another high point on Saturday 1 August<\/strong><\/a> with bulls from Juan Pedro Domecq<\/strong><\/a>. The bill features the consistency of Miguel \u00c1ngel Perera<\/strong><\/a>, the spectacular talent of Andr\u00e9s Roca Rey<\/strong><\/a>, and local favourite David de Miranda<\/strong><\/a>, who celebrates the tenth anniversary of his alternativa<\/strong> (the ceremony in which a bullfighter becomes a fully qualified matador).<\/p>\n

The organisers have also secured the appearance of Morante de la Puebla<\/strong><\/a> on Monday 3 August<\/strong><\/a>, Huelva’s main festive day. He will share the pase\u00edllo<\/strong> with Daniel Luque<\/strong><\/a> and, once again, David de Miranda<\/strong>, facing bulls from several prestigious breeding ranches selected to encourage artistic and memorable performances.<\/p>\n

A Fair for Every Bullfighting Fan<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Sunday 2 August<\/strong><\/a>, the fair will host an exciting rejones<\/strong> event (bullfighting on horseback), led by the sport’s leading rider, Diego Ventura<\/strong><\/a>, alongside Portuguese horseman Duarte Fernandes<\/strong><\/a>, promising an afternoon of outstanding horsemanship.<\/p>\n

The fair opens on 29 and 30 July<\/strong> with Huelva es Torera<\/strong>, a competition designed to support the next generation of bullfighters, followed by a novillada<\/strong> featuring some of the region’s most promising young talents, including Carlos Tirado<\/strong>, Guillermo Luna<\/strong> and one of the breakout stars of the 2026 season, Julio Norte<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
